Thank you for stopping by the internet home of DTN Studios, my name is Dave Nicol, and I am a photographer based in St Paul Minnesota.  Whether shooting on location, or in the studio, photography is my passion, and I take my art seriously.  While keeping things relaxed and comfortable, and not wishing to typecast myself into the role of 'photographer', I portray many themes and conceptual shots; ranging from glamor/lifestyle to artistic nudes and implied.  But I put higher emphasis on the comfort of those that I work with, and will work within each individual comfort zone to get the best possible results from each look during a shoot.
If you are looking for a specific project, my rates are quite reasonable, and you won't find yourself paying through the nose for exclusive usage rights for the photos. Since these  are your projects, unless otherwise specified; you will be responsible for supplying hair, makeup, and wardrobe services for each shoot. Escorts and guests are welcome, but will be seated in a designated waiting area in the same general vicinity.  Thus eliminating unnecessary distraction for both photographer and model.
I pride myself on having built a reputation on respect, integrity, and understanding.  I do not abide by the "my shoot, my rules" mentality, as we all have our own personal lives and reputations to take into consideration. It is unfair to assume that whoever is paying for the shoot has complete autonomy over what the images are or what may be.  Everyone brings something to the table and I look forward to seeing where my next project may lead!
